Honestly, I wish the term “bloke” was common in the US. I always loved that one.

Very good source of information. I especially liked the section on parasites, my favorite discipline.

Oooh, I know this sounds crazy but I'm bookmarking for reading for fun! My BS and MS degrees were in microbiology, and my Master's thesis was involving vibrio and yersenia species, and this is just plain nostalgia for me. Wierd, yeah, we are out here.

PS: had time to look. I love bacteria, and have a healthy respect for viruses, but those prions are what keep me up at night.

They keep me up too. I was a volunteer deer field checker for our DNR for decades and the spread of CWD is scary.
