I was told that the prettiest girls all got asked out first and always had dates. HaHa I found out that they were home alone on many Saturday nights.

Putting salt on meat before cooking will draw out all the moisture.

Another myth I found out way too late-- Jack Daniels, and especially Jim Beam, are popular for a reason! No, they're terrible representations of American whiskeys. Don't get me wrong, if that's what the place has I'll take it but they're the oven ribs of the whiskey world.

I can drink JD …in a pinch. Jim Beam is god-awful.

Liver is the oil filter of the bloodstream.
          And I hate onions.

          EDIT: True stuff, not made-up.

3-2-1 method is the best way to get great ribs. That’s only true if you want those awful mushy fall off the bone ribs. The first time I tried this my ribs were over cooked at the end of the 2 hour part, they certainly didn’t need another hour. Now days I don’t wrap ribs at all.

On the other hand, it may lead to consuming vast quantities of Oreos and Fun-Yuns.

I’ve never had a Fun-Yun. A Nacho Cheese Dorito or twelve, sure, but never a Fun-Yun. Honest officer.

Searing meats “locks in the juices”. Simply untrue.

Pizza at 141 degrees is good forever. Pizza at 139 degrees will kill you.

If this was true, we would all be dead.

That to cook a pizza you need an oven that runs at 3,000 degrees and it's done in 7.32 seconds.
