You'd think selecting a new toaster should be easy.
But all the manufacturers have decided to make "countertop" toasters that can cook entire 4-course meals and have lots of extras that nobody really utilizes.
We're just looking for a "basic toaster oven", probably big enought for 2 slices (or three, if they're really good friends).
The model we have (and it's been working great this whole time) is likely from 1978. This is a slight exaggeration, but not that far off.
What brands/styles have you found that you like and would recommend. This will need to go into the cabinet with the other "occasional" equipment, so size is a consideration.
Should be get into the 21st century and settle for a combo toaster/air-fryer/can-opener/screwdriver version, or focus on what we hope to be looking for in a basic "toaster oven" ?
