Do it! Many times I am on PC and it makes it easier to copy recipes or manually type them in when you’re transposing from a written recipe.

As a skeptical old coot I'm ever skeptical of "The Cloud", but my laptop rolled over and died a couple of weeks ago taking all of my recipes, and everything else, with it. I think it's time to dive into the Paprika world and this is a pretty good deal. Thanks for sharing this with us, Don.

Skip maybe, but there's no local business that does that so I'd have to travel over an hour either north or south to find someone who'd even try. The recipes are the main thing I'd want and I can recreate those as I go so I'm not very motivated to go through the hassle. All of the important stuff is on Collette's high-powered personal work computer and she's way better at backing it all up.

I'm ready for the tomato throwing to begin - I have a Mac and I plug in my backup drive every Sunday. The computer automatically backs itself up each time - a feature known as Time Machine. I have had two computers crash in my life and both times the Time Machine feature saved me. Plugged it into my new computer and it was identical to the last. It is a few more bucks for the Apple product but I am really glad I had it.

Paprika is an incredible app because it allows you to import recipes from your internet searches whether it is from within Paprika or from your browser. In addition it looks like Paprika is here to stay.

Plus you can edit or add notes to any recipe that's put into Paprika.

Depends on the installed device. That sounds about right for the desktop version on a Mac when on sale.

I saw Paprika announced on FB last night and I shared it. A friend got it after asking me a couple questions. One of very few apps I will promote and share and urge people to buy.

Remember too that you can export recipes in Paprika to an HTML version. That means you can share recipes with others who don't have Paprika and you always have access to your recipes without the Paprika app.
