Mine stay covered when not in use but we live in central FL so there is no "regular season" down here. All of mine get used year round, that's why we moved out of MI.

I just buttoned up everything outdoors, but as soon as the hurricane passes it's coming right back out.

The only time I cover my grills are when we're gonna have tropical storm or hurricane winds that might blow rain into our screen enclosed patio. There are only two seasons down here; hot, wet and full of mosquitos, or cool, a bit dryer and full of snow birds.

Yup. When it snows with sub-freezing temps half the year it becomes something you just gotta deal with

I always cover my cookers when they’re not in use. At our old house I left my Weber Spirit uncovered most of the time and it lead to some quality issues. With the exception of my Genesis my cookers are offered some protection from the soffits. Not sure if I’ll use the WSM much this winter now that I have a kettle. But I’ll be burning charcoal this winter ❄️ in conjunction with the pellet smoker. Just found out last night we’re hosting Thanksgiving so already looking up recipes to try on my cookers weather be damned.
