Some might remember that I was invited this summer to smoke food and help put together a bbq for a about 70 people consisting of musicians and their crew, at an outdoor amphitheater. ( photos attached.)
I was just invited back with the hopes I will cook for 2 or 3 of their 2 & 3 day music festivals. They also just asked if I would be willing to put on a clinic for how to, "up your cooking" while hanging out at camp. I think this means I get my PK 2 go this summer. 😜

PKGO is only gonna feed that many folks with the flip kit and doing burgers and dogs only Unless ya just need it for yourself to cook and they have better stuff for the teaching Although, you've seen my "I Hate You Guys" PKGO thread, I've put quite a few things in the PKGO a normal person wouldn't attempt
I was thinking it would be a good choice alongside. 22 kettle with ash catcher, as grills you could imagine in a campsite at a 2-3 day music fest. For the teaching how to up your camp cook. Lol,
yeah, definitely not enough for the bands tent. I’m thankful that I only have to really do the smoking for that, others do much of the sides. They even came and picked it up at my house, so I did not even have to cook there. Just got to go enjoy.
I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle and a Pit Boss Copperhead pellet grill.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.
It’s been a humbling experience. The idea of a clinic on cooking at your campsite, is going to be fun to even think about, what cooks would upgrade the standard offerings. I’m thinking carne asada with chimi as one idea. Maybe some blasphemy ribs,
I see a very large smoker coming in your future.🙂 I remember when they shot the movies "Runaway Bride," and "Tuck Everlasting" here in our town and the caterers for those movies pulled some large setups in to feed cast and crew. Next thing you know the bands are going to invite you to go on tours and then you’ll need a large food truck to boot.
Ha! Maybe someday I’ll be able to afford to buy a large LSG cabinet. If I don’t kill my chances with my wants for a larger Santa Maria, a pk 360, and a Weber summit charcoal.

When I go to the PK grills website, it says 20% (Promo code SMOKESALE20) and there's a popup for 10% for signing up to their newsletter that likely doesn't stack
