Wonderful! Congratulations to the winners and all who participated. This was a such a great time and helped cheer up an old coot with a crappy head cold. I wish I'd had a bit more energy to help bring the stick burners across the finish line, but that's what's needed to properly manage the 'ol locomotives. Thankfully, I do have a couple of pellet poopers (the LSG seems to be getting a lot of work these days) and it didn't take too much effort for my minor contributions.
With that, and the great, inspired cooks from Team Pellets, those Texas, Tennessee, and Carolinas BBQ joints better watch out, for the Pellet Pooper Army is on the march!!
We'll see y'all at the Chef Mic (microwave) vs. InstantPot Smackdown!
Same here Mike. I was looking froward to this event but I'm not healed enough to run my Rig. That and the DR's gave me hell last week for doing too much too soon.
Oh well. We'll get 'em next time.

Congratulations to the winners! My excuse for not winning is who the heck scheduled this thing for a three day weekend with a Sunday in the middle of it. That's the only day of the week I work. Couldn't be because I don't take pictures that look like a magazine spread! Or didn't bother with sides.
I'm not really pouting or fishing for compliments. Just fun to participate. I'm personally blown away by the presentations some people make on a regular basis.
Well, when I entered this I thought that it was just stick burners verses pellet poopers, so I'm very surprised and honored to get recognition as an individual participant. Everybody is a winner here, just being amongst such talent! I can't believe the breadth of experience and knowledge that was shown here this weekend. Not only was this a great learning experience for all, but a lot of fun too!
I'm not much of a comedian or public speaker, so don't really know what else to say, so I'll just say I'm very humbled and honored! Thank you all!! And special thanks to Panhead John and the judges; I can't imagine how hard it must have been to judge this, especially just based on pictures!
Hey John, are the judges going to remain anonymous or are you going to out them at some point? Perhaps they can out themselves if they want?
It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work/pressure when ecowper asked Mr. Bones and I to judge a cookoff a few years ago. I gotta say, it is difficult to judge your friends when they're putting their heart and soul into something, even if it's just for fun. I think it would be great to personally acknowledge their contribution as well.

I like them being anonymous, though I suppose if there are hurt feelings in the future a moderator could verify there are actually judges and not PJ's multiple personalities if needed.
Congratulations to all the winners. There were so many excellent presentations that you can be proud yours stood out. Also, thanks and congratulations to Panhead John for actually pulling this thing off. And a big round of applause to the judges for their diligent efforts and wise recognition of the superiority of pellet poopers.

TC woulda laughed. He's one of the few celebs I actually follow. He had a fantastic gaming computer build he did so he had something to do with his son. The interactions he had with fans through the whole thing were amazing. He is truly a man who appreciates everyone. https://www.pcgamer.com/terry-crews-...-high-end-pcs/
