They are like one of the first spring vegetables, so kind of have a cult following as it’s sort of the kick off to spring/summer veggies. They have them all over NY. Sort of a combo scallion, garlic and onion.
OK, someone posted about Benton's awhile back and I was intrigued. This post made me decide to place an order with them: bacon, of course. Thin sliced 20 month aged ham and hickory smoked center cut country ham/ biscuit pieces.
If I like the ham then I might order an entire leg the next time me and my college buddies get together.
