We have two freezers. My inventory system leaves a lot to be desired. I’m not even sure if it’s LIFO or FIFO, but it works any way. All the new stuff goes on the top shelves, I cook mostly from the bottom two shelves. As space opens at the bottom stuff gets moved down. If there’s not much room at the top we don’t buy things that would need freezing. The bottom line is we save a lot buying when things are on sale and putting them in the freezers. The last time good quality briskets were on sale we bought four of them.

I have a chest freezer that my sister started filling up. { she doesn't live with me}. I brought a up right freezer and all of a sudden it started getting filled { guess by who}. I mention it to my her about all the food, she went in and checked she said that she didn't realized she had so much food in their. So guess who is going to start smoking up food and when she start looking for something I won't remember smoking it.
