Need suggestion(s) for Easter meal addition. Family joining us and so far menu is a Costco spiral ham, homemade potato salad and cole slaw, possibly Polish sausage and vegetable sides. What can I add on that I can cook with my OG pellet cooker? Thoughts on heating the already smoked spiral ham on the OG? I’m not excited by my ideas this far and help would be greatly appreciated

Second. I did this at Christmas with an unsliced ham. It was great but this time I bought a spiral-sliced that I'm looking forward to cooking. I'm just going to be lazy and use the packet of brown sugar glaze that came with the ham instead of the recipe glaze to save some time and effort. The flavor comes from the second smoking in the foil.

My Italian in laws get a whole lamb butchered. We’re having lamb chops as appetizer, Leg of lamb as the main course, and my mother-in-law is doing a ham in the oven for those who don’t care for lamb. There will also be pasta as well.
Good to know about resmoking an already cooked ham. Wondered that myself.

We've switched up the traditional Ham menu and gone with Smoked Pork Chops with grilled Pineapple before. Ham on the MAK this year though.

We do lamb chops this way: https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=127404&page=1
It's an old Mario Batali recipe. I Googled it, and there were a few versions out there, not sure which one was the one we used as we don't do it frequently enough that I can recall in detail. I hope my wife has it saved somewhere. We basically apply the rub and finish on a grill.Last edited by Murdy; April 12, 2022, 08:08 AM.

It's been a while since I've done plain old burgers on the grill. Apparently an unacceptably long while. As of yesterday, SWMBO has therefore decreed that our Easter menu will include a selection of Easter Burgers ... along with appropriate sides that SHE will prepare. I'm working on looking sad ... but the giggling may give me away.
Now I'm not recommending that you suggest something as simple a burgers. Heck, I'd never get away with actually suggesting such a thing. But if Easter meal-planning events take a similar turn in your world, just do what I do. Downcast eyes at all times, a slightly trembling lip, and occasionally yank a nose hair out to help with making big ol' crocodile tears as needed.
And now I must think about choosing an appropriate wine ... perhaps one with a cork since it really is a special occasion. Regardless of what you ultimately decide to do, have a great Easter
