    The most rewarding thing is hearing positive feedback. Congrats on a very successful cook.

    Being a part of the Pit IMO beats any chef's course.
    I honestly believe you not only get the best advice but with different versions too and so much more. Lots of what can be learnt here you will not be taught in most courses. Best of all for me is learning something from others posts, then finding yourself in a similar situation and because of this you have a way out.
    And if you choose you can be in schooling way past any timeframe (even into your ripe years) and it's dirt cheap.

        Cooking gourmet food is a hobby of mine. Ever since I was a little girl, I have watched my mother cook and try to surprise the whole family with her signature dishes. I even wanted to become a chef. Now, most of the time, I make desserts. Quite often, I take pastry courses. Maybe I can open my own bakery or pastry shop in the future. I find recipes on the Internet and modify them according to my preferences and views. I also like recipes from [linked removed by Huskee] You can read the different recipes and order the products you need on their website. I think it will be interesting not only for professional cooks but also for hobbyists.
