Just a very little example of usin yer wok for other than Asian. I cooked what I call venison "scraps", pieces of meat that were small enough or cit up into chunk portions. I estimated it at about a pound so I treated it as I do beef & cooked it in two batches, set it aside. I was also cookin Minootan (MN wild rice). That was the up north North America part of the cook. I then sliced up the white section of a leek, some baby book choy, white mushrooms and cooked it up with a little garlic & ginger, using avacado oil. In the last 30 seconds of about a 4 minute veggie cook Imtossed in a healthy handful of bean sprouts with a splash of soy sauce & shao zing wine. Set that Asian flavor of the cook aside & put the venison all back in the wok to warm up a bit with some homemade teriyaki sauce. I then served & took a final pic & commenced to eating when I realized the wild rice was still in the pot, hence the second pic of a messy plate. Hope the pics come out right.

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.

I WILL NOT be tempted into another piece of outdoor equipment
My husband has nearly filled the decks on 2 houses now.
Our house has a CookShck pellet grill, a Cookshack smoker, 2 big green eggs.
Our small house next door has an old old Oklahoma Joe thing, a PK360, a BlackStone griddle, and a closet size cabinet that has a Charbroil Big Easy oil less fryer (my favorite) amd a lodge cast iron hibachi.
Forgot. He also has a GoodOne smoker under the tree in our backyard.

Debra I think FireMan is telling you that you could take the wok out to the grill, and use it there, while waiting on that kitchen to be finished... If it has a wooden handle though, be careful with that. I intentionally got one with a metal helper handle, so that I didn't have to worry about the wooden helper handle burning up. It's easy enough to position the main handle outside the grill area...
So, do you use both houses? Is someone living in the other house and you still grill there?

jfmorris my family took care of my Dad after some not so good experiences in elderly care communities. We were very fortunate to have the house come up for sale exactly when he needed to move. And just a little before prices went up out of sight. We snatched it up and moved him next door where I was able to take care of him until he passed this last Summer at 97 years old. It was an absolute blessing to him as well as our family and extended family to be able to move him in there. He lived his 6 years in a revolving door of family and friends and new found neighbors. He was able to pass there quietly in his own room with family from all over the country visiting and staying with him in what he loved to call HIS city house. Since his passing we gave it to Daughter and her family.
And I read my reply to FireMan and I apologize if it sounded like I was being hateful. I meant it jokingly. Husband agrees he has too many bbq and is considering selling a few to continue a new rotation.
