Science proves the Absolute Best Way to eat an Oreo

Whether you're a dunker, a twister, a nibbler, a licker, a biter, or however else you get that Oreo goodness --- science has proven the Absolute Best Way to eat an Oreo.

The linked article has tons of different info on various studies that talk about texture and flavors and smells and why the Oreo is the ultimate combination of all of these. But what did the science tell us? It's a bit buried in the article.

Would work well except the stuffing taste horrible these days. I gave up Oreo's after they got rid of the hydrogenated shortening in the recipe. Same with most other packaged cookies. YMMVPPDNGFRDPAONI.

Best way is to switch to Hydrox cookies. Unfortunately, not carried in most stores anymore. The version on Amazon is close, but with all the whacks to the good ingredients, most packaged candies/cookies/etc are c**p these days.

Don't like the standard Oreo, gots to be Golden. It's like someone was making chocolate colored chalk and accidentally sent it to the cream department.

Straight from the freezer, into some 2% milk and down the hatch!

Just eat them. Twist, dunk, vanilla, I don't care. Oreo's are the best!

Whenever my wife sees a new variation in the grocery store, I get to try a new kind. I like the chocolate filling the best. Oreos are right up there with Girl Scout cookies. It's that time again, let me know if you need a supplier. I've got three granddaughters selling them this year. I see many cookies in my future.

Have you tried the fudge covered Oreos? Super rich, but delicious.

I just tried the lemon ones, the golden "vanilla" ones are better.

                I'm half scrape-the-white-out-first, and half just-shove-in-face.

Fork right into the filling between the wafers and dunk them completely until the perfect texture/saturation level is achieved.
Eat them whole if no one is watching.

Never been an Oreo fan my whole life. Just don't care for them. When my daughter was younger though I would get Oreos for her occasionally. She liked the stuffing and her best friend liked the cookie so between both of them they ate the whole cookie. 🤣🤣

My Husband will eat as many of them as I bring home with copious amounts of milk. I try to ration him and make them a treat. Original only. He will not eat the double stuffed.
