I'm having my sister and her family over for the Super Bowl and am smoking a lamb shoulder raised by my other sister in California. My sister has tipped me off to a good middle eastern market and she dropped off these supplies she picked up yesterday. I'm looking forward to trying them out.

I asked her to pick up the paneer and I'll use some of that for an Indian dish maybe tomorrow. She suggested the Za'tar for the rub on the lamb served with the pita and tzatziki she's going to make. I'm sure she will bring some other delicious stuff to go with it. Both of my sisters are good cooks, and so is my Brother in law who is from France. Lots of interesting ethnic foods of all types. My nephew is like me and gravitates towards Asian flavors. He's bringing some sort of Turkish bulgar salad. My girlfriend plans on baking something within the general theme of the day. But she really wants something orange and black for the Bengals. We'll see if she can achieve all of that in one or 2 dishes.
The rest of the supplies I'll have to experiment with.
