    Breakfast of champions.

I looked it up on the internet, it’s okay to have a ham sandwich and a chocolate cookie for breakfast.

Top to bottom: soft roll, Duke’s mayo, baby spinach, heirloom tomato, sharp provolone, chipped ham, roasted red pepper, Duke’s, bun.

Anyone wants the cookie recipe, ask. They’re freakin’ awesome.

Yep, if you saw it on the internet it's legit. Just ask Abraham Lincoln.....

Don’t believe everything you see on the internet. That’s how World War I started.

Never cared for breakfast food growing up. Ate a lot of sandwiches first thing in the morning.

Morning beverage? Coffee? Bloody Mary--PBR + tomato juice?

I always called a marlboro red washed down with strong black coffee the breakfast of champions myself...but that looks good.

A coke and a smoke were breakfast for a lot of guys I knew who had been to Nam.

YUM! If you think about it, every ingredient (even in the mayo) is something you'd regularly find on a breakfast table anyway. Just in a different pattern. I approve

That's my standard sandwich for lunch, except I use Swiss cheese and wheat bread. Smoked turkey deli meat slices or leftover smoked pork tenderloin slices are my favorites. Sometimes if I'm feeling froggy I'll add some Carolina Gold in addition to the Duke's.

The cookies look good. However, I need to know if a healthy version can be made. I've been trying to stick to a healthy diet for the past few months after being diagnosed as overweight. The hardest part is giving up sweets because I used to eat them more than other foods. I try to replace them with dark chocolate, protein bars and healthy granola I order it here [link removed by Huskee] I love fruit, but many people say it has as much sugar as regular sweets. So I don't know if this is a good idea. What do you guys think? Do you have any other ideas for substitute sweets (I don't know how to cook, so don't offer recipes, please)? I appreciate any help you can give.

I’m with you all the way. First: A sammie for breakfast! Yes!! I just finished a leftover smoked pork cop. Sliced thin, topped with lettuce and Stubb’s original bbq sauce on sourdough bread. MY cookie was a white chocolate chip, macadamia nut. Yum. As you say, the breakfast of champions! Sorry. No pics. But it DID happen!

I’ve been eating sandwiches (including cheeseburgers) for breakfast for a few months now. If I didn’t, I’d be eating like 20 eggs a week.
