Attjack Shouldn't Rub be under a Spices category? You have opened a can of worms. 🤣

Yes I nest. It's how my mind works. I'm very analytical.

Yes, perhaps "rubs" should be under spices with certain rubs also being tagged as BBQ.

No nesting, but assign multiple categories.

I nest categories. Stir Fry Beef would be in Chinese>Beef. Also in a separate "Beef" folder so I can browse by main ingredient. I like having multiple folders to browse as well as a general search feature.

When I first started using Paprika I created a couple folders but rarely bothered to use them. Search (especially by ingredient) is just easier and I am too lazy to bother setting up and maintain an elaborate file structure.

I'm just getting started with Paprika since the Holidays but only several Categories so far. I think I'm going to really like it!

It took me awhile to get used to it, but I like it now. Wish I could get DH to use it too -- I have to print out recipes he wants to use, rather than him doing the work. :P Still love him though.

I wish stars were a category or that I could search for all recipes with, say, 5 stars. I know I could make #star categories 1 through 5, and put the corresponding recipes into each, but that's too much work.

You're right, Kathryn - a person can't search by rating and I agree that would be useful. I only give 5 star ratings to long time tried-tested-and-true recipes, so if I want to quickly locate these favorites, I'd definitely want to search by rating.

No nesting here, I wasn't aware that it could be done. I just have categories such as pasta, beef, pork, poultry, etc. I may give it a shot now that you have opened my eyes

I just noticed the location change. I bet Eagles fans are not hating less right now. I am hating the fact that the Bucs are destroying them now, I am going to have to concentrate on the work I am supposed to be doing
