My mother-in-law's best friend is battling cancer. Due to the chemo, she has no appetite and is steadily losing weight. Awhile back I made some Smoked Butternut Squash soup using the recipe on this site. My mother-in-law took some to her friend and she loved it! I made another batch for her today. As we go in to 2022, we should remember that food is more than fulfilling a desire to eat. Food can supply comfort, warmth and love to those we care about. I wish you all a joyous and healthy New Year!
