I have yet to see Plate Short Ribs ("Dino") in a store locally. I see Chuck Short Ribs fairly often when I am looking.
Local butcher had 4 bone Chuck racks that were $7.59/lb last week. They looked nice and were already fairly well trimmed. Normally, I pay in the $8-11/lb range for Chuck Short Rib racks.

Reason: exact price
DaveD - your comment reminded me of something I've been doing for a couple of decades. All of my game animal burger is a mix of 90% game meat and 10% bacon ends & pieces. On a scale of 1 to 10, its an 11.
dubob, I don't know the percentages of PR's mix (they call it "Beef vs Bacon" or something like that), it doesn't say on their site but the words are consistent with it being 50/50. There is a classic burger place in Clear Lake area TX called Tookie's that used a half & half blend to make their "Squealer" burger, which we can now duplicate. Delicious!!
Haven’t even seen them recently. A couple years ago the Dinos at local butchers were $12+/lb, so I never bought any. If I came across them with todays beef prices I’m certain I’d be shocked.
One day I hope to find them at a reasonable price. I’d love to cook them!
