    Confused

I'm not sure if I should be sad or proud.
I just received an email rom the Hatch Chile Store congratulating me on reaching the $1000 lifetime spend mark. I must really like Hatch Chile peppers or I need to walk away from my computer.

Sounds like just another terrible addiction. As to being confused, I remain in that state myself

Well at least he can’t go to jail for this addiction.
Rehab maybe. But I don’t think it will help. 😁

This is an addiction I didn't know existed. I suspect that I wish I didn't know. First Rancho Gordo, and now this!

There were virtually no fresh Hatch peppers in our markets this year. I get them from Fresh Market, usually, but they said they only got one small shipment that sold out within hours. Color me sad.

I was going to make do with the canned version. Then I saw your post, ofelles . I'll be placing an order. Thanks!

Your welcome. As you said in the Rancho Gordo thread, it helps me feel normal when I surround myself with fellow addicts.

            Milady, if I may...

1> Give Preston a holler, an he will hook you up, extravagantly...

            2>Look, most keerfully, at th math...; 5#@$35.00= $7 / lb., 10#@$40.00=$4 / lb, 25 lb. [email protected]$60=$2.40 / lb..

I usually order betwixt 50~100 lbs, give much away in 1 lb. paper sack increments, string uppa whole bunch through th stem, with a needle an thread, an hang dry em, traditional, like.

Also, freezes me some, an gives away probly th Lion's Share...

Life Is Good, When Ya Let It Be..:cool

Oh dear, Mr. Bones , you're putting me on a very slippery slope indeed.
Very tempting for someone like myself for whom "more is more".

I could see racking up $1,000 of purchases there with little effort. Thanks, ofelles, for introducing me to a place to spend money in small enough increments that I don't need to run the purchases by my wife first.
