Or as the package says gourmet frankfurters. All I can say is effin' awesome! I don't think I can eat any other kind of hot dog now. I had two for lunch today. One would have been plenty! First off these things are as big as most polish sausages I've had. The beef flavor is fantastic and the casing has a nice snap to it which I like. It fills the bun so if you are making Chicago dogs or any gourmet dog with a lot of fixin's buy big buns. I wanted mine pretty much naked the first time just so I could judge the flavor so all I put on was a bit of Koop's Dijon mustard. I pan fried them in a little water and they plumped up very nicely. Can't wait to get some on the flat top!

SRF is having 15% off everything for the rest of today. I purchased some items yesterday including 5 more pounds of these dogs and that was before I tried these today from a previous order. I'm glad I did now! I also purchased a rack of prime rib pork and a black grade 10 to 12lb Wagyu brisket. Should be here Thursday!

I have the black grade cap of rib eye in my freezer from one of SRF's last promotions. I'm saving it for a week night dinner when for just the wife and I when I can be certain none of the kids will be dropping by expecting dinner!

Man, I missed the 15%. How often do they run this? I logged in and saw the promo, also signed up for the mailing list to get a free 1lb of Wagyu ground beef and free shipping, but was waiting for my promo code to come in the email - which didn't happen for a while, so I missed the 15% off sale.

This stuff is expensive enough, I think I need to wait for another sale, save my free 1lb coupon for then. <sigh> Dangit.
