The boss just told me I need to build a new cabinet to store all my cook gadgets that Amazon, UPS and FedEx keeping leaving on our doorstep. Which gives an excuse to buy more stuff. Next I wanna get a meat grinder. I loved the brand of breakfast sausage in the subject line and wonder if any of you folks know a recipe with a similar end result. Here in Arizona, Jimmy Dean is about the only decent commercial sausage I have found.

Secondly, I want to get a simple grinder that clamps to the counter top with a hand crank. Just like mom used. Any recommendations?

Odom's Tennessee Pride is some great sausage!

I have used it (Hot, mostly) for many years, for breakast, in my chili, biscuits n gravy, sides, the list is almost endless.

Ain't never once been sorry!

Every now n again, it goes on sale, stupid cheap... I just grin, and load up the freezer...

Free Bonus: By adding the grease to my stoveside canister, with the bacon grease, natch, it adds a nice zing to all the other stuff I use the grease for!

I agree. Best danged commercial sausage I've had. I grew up eating it. I would love to duplicate it but am just starting to prepare for my first sausage mixing exercise. No idea where to start.
