    Anyone Tried This With Sausage?

Just ran across this short video from Malcom Reed about cutting slices on your sausage before cooking. If you’ve done this, did you like it better this way? I’ve never done sausage like this but it looks intriguing! I might give it a shot next time.

Whew, I wasn't sure what I was going to see when I clicked on it.

I did see this video recently, but haven't given it a try yet. Should be pretty dang good, though.

Yes. Lots more crunchy parts. I never thought about seasoning tho. 😎👍

I am not sure what to do, looks really good but I fear I may become addicted.

😂 I just caught my typo. I changed it to “cutting slices”

I'll let someone else try it and report back. Here is my thought: Let the "grease" out? No way! I can't believe such sacrilege. Also, it seems to me that if the sausage needs seasoning, perhaps he needs to get a better sausage or make his own. Just sayin'

I might try it Sunday and see if it’s better….or not.

Agreed - 1) don't want a dried out sausage and 2) how damn salty will that thing be with an already seasoned/smoked sausage and then throwing a lot more salty dry rub on it

I see burnt ends in the future.

I'm with JLR on this one. If you like the flavor of the sausage, then just grill it and enjoy. If you like the flavor of the rub and sauce he slathered all over it, just slather them of some stale bread and have at it.

I suppose it depends on the sausage. There are sausages out there that are too greasy.

I agree with this. I've had some brats that are just way, way too fatty for me.
