    Snake River Farms ground beef on the way!

    Got a 5 pound loaf of it hitting my doorstep this Thursday. Last time I bought it we only used about a pound of it for burgers, the rest of it was turned into some truly decadent meatballs.

    This time around though I want to use all of it for burgers so who has some "out there" recipes? Just to let you know where my tastes lie, I love any kind of cheese with a penchant for Bleu in a burger, I love heat so any kind of hot sauce suggestions are welcome and I love to jazz up a burger with tons of seasonings.

    My wife will have a plain old cheeseburger but I'm looking for something wild, any suggestions?

    My suggestion is to make a cheddar & bleu cheese "Juicy Lucy", with BBBR for seasoning. A Juicy Lucy is where you put cheese on top of a thin patty, then put another thin patty on top of that, sealing the sides and forming it into one thick patty with cheese stuffed in the middle. The BBBR on burgers really amps them up with a kick.

    Don't forget to toast the buns, wow is that ever a huge step in a decadent burger.

      I love making Buffalo Style burgers. As Huskee stated above make a blue cheese "Juicy Lucy" then I'll top mine with Frank's Red Hot Sauce and a blue cheese celery slaw that I make.
