$100.00 for the Grand Burger at McGuire's Irish Pub in Pensacola. Actually only $25.00 for me as I was traveling with three others and we had already sampled their ale sampler several times.

Probably $17 or so at a "fancy" restaurant at an an airport (JFK or Atlanta Come to mind). Our local upscale restaurant actually has a really good 1/2 pounder of locally sourced beef that is very good for $10 with fries.

Wow, that's a pretty good deal, especially in your neck of the woods.

Yes, considering their other options are priced much higher. If I can't decide what to order (pre-Covid of course) I will often just get the burger.

Most outrageously expensive was recently at McDonald's in Auburn CA. It was $15.11 for two Big Macs and one fry, and it was awful! We gave up on McDonald's for good that day! 🤑

Burger at the 21 Club in NYC. Its currently listed at $34 dollars, it was a while ago and I didn’t pay that much. Service and the food was far beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Glad I did it once.

My wife and I recently went to a Five Guys restaurant. My single bacon cheese burger was around $11. Not worth it

$120 USD. The DB Royale at DB Bistro Moderne in New York City. It was well worth it and there may have been some alcohol involved beforehand.

NYC is worth it at least once, and hopefully for at least a week, so you can sorta get a feel for it. It's a big city , but damn it's cool!

About $18 for a burger at Napa Valley Burger Company in Sausalito, CA. We biked over the Golden Gate Bridge, then ate that burger. It was really good!! But, now that I think of it, maybe it was all that biking?

We had a $19-$21 burger on the lunch & brunch menus of a restaurant I worked at. It was soo good
            • Custom Neimann ranch blend - 7oz
            • house made bun
            • drunk onions - caramelized onions cooked down in red wine, port and red wine vin
            • truffle pecorino cheese
            • house made bread and butter pickle chips
            • roasted tomato aioli
Came with house made chips (potato chips not fries) cooked daily

Never had to pay for it, but it was worth the $$

There is a french restaurant around me called Stage Left. At one point they had a bar menu that had a 20 dollar burger that was a mix of ground chuck, brisket, and sirloin if i remember. Came with some ridiculous aged cheddar and anything else you had to ask specifically for...lettuce/tomatoes/onions etc. This was a solid 15 years ago and i was a college student so that was a major expenditure for me at the time which probably influenced how good i thought it was, but i remember it being amazing.

I don't think I've every paid more than $12-15 for any burger, ever. And that was probably at a place like Chili's or Red Robin, when out with friends and family.

I remember back in my business traveling days made one of several trips to Peter Luger's in Brooklyn. One of the times I went with a group for lunch I ordered their burger. It's nothing special, just 1/2 pound but done up right. I'm thinking it was like $20 with some sides.

When I lived in the Chicago area, there was a little old hole in the wall place up in Wauconda that had a burger that was literally the size of a dinner plate. They even had a special bun made that covered that same plate. I think is was like 2-3 pounds of meat, probably a dozen pieces of cheese and drug through the garden. It was intended to be a fun serving for like 4 people but they said if you could eat it yourself, it was free. Never saw anyone actually do it although many tried. My memory is a little vague (it was 30+ years ago) but I'm thinking it was about $35 back then so easily $50 or more in today's dollars.
