At the beginning of the Month I was on Facebook and came across a Suggested Post or a liked post from Greg Rempe BBQCentralShow , Not sure which, but if it was Greg, Thanks! Anyways the post was The YOUBBQDWHAT? Photo and Video Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the State of Michigan looking for your interesting and unique BBQ recipe photos or video, With a Weber prize Package worth over $2000.
So thanks to the AR and the Pit I had a photo collection to search through. I started posting pics of Grilled Mallard, Pastrami, Beef Ribs, Chicken and Stuffed Pork loin. Then I thought that's not very unique so next I tried some desserts, Grilled pound cake & Pineapple with a Spiced Rum caramel sauce and A Granny smith Caramel apple pie.
For the Pie, I peeled and cored a Granny Smith apple stuffed the center with sugar cinnamon and butter and sprinkled outside with sugar, butter and apple pie spice, then wrapped with one piece of ready made pie crust and grilled this indirect. Although the contest was sponsored by Enbridge Propane, I used the Kettle/Slow&Sear combo for the apple pie, Lol!
