    Gots a cobbler question

The "cobbler" I typically cook gets canned cherries, blackberries, or whatever, and then my cake mix topping with butter.

I'm using fresh blackberries this round. Anything special I need to do or roll just like the canned stuff?

****No paper lined foil used for this recipe.

I make cobbler each year with fresh wild blackberries that we have close to us. I would not do anything different. Looks like a bumper crop of blackberries around here. Enjoy!

If the berries are sweet enough to use, you could just go ahead. If not, you could add a bit of sugar, like the cook does in this recipe.

Warm and bubbling triple berry cobbler with a sweet cake-style topping — perfect for dessert, potlucks, or anytime comfort food! Top with vanilla ice cream and serve family-style.

Growing up on the edge of a rice field in Riceville, USA, never ever heard of a cobbler. Thanks for the lesson.

Just this year or last year would be my guess, I have two giant mulberry bushes pop up. One opposite the other in the back yard, right where I was wanting a bit more privacy. Kim hates them n I love them. I guess the berries are gonna cause problems.

Add some sugar and a little lemon juice. Think making jam, but without the mashing boiling part.
