I believe this should work pretty well as a waffle. Cannoli batter cooked in the waffle maker then sliced in half and filled with the ricotta cheese mixture. Or cannoli waffle topped with mixture. I doubt I could stuff while cooking as that would create a mess.
it wouldn’t be a cannoli cake but closer to a cannoli skillet recipe. Unfortunately, my search skills cannot quite find the ideal recipe (cannoli skillets are uncommon?) where someone has done this already.
These all seem like decent starting points. Does anyone have a better recipe or what kind of adjustments would you make to ensure the outcome is good?
