Unfortunately heavy cream and coconut milk are also part of the issue, I'm screwed.

Is just the heavy cream or the coconut too? If just the cream, I have made great dairy free ice cream in the smaller version with oat milk, but also some coconut fat.

Oats are an issue along with many of the nut varieties. I react unfortunately to many foods and it's no fun. It seems to get worse as I get older. Yes either any dairy or coconut is off limits. Mushrooms and bell peppers too are out. Very weird system I have. I can have cheese on pizza, don't ask I don't know why. It may have something to do with it being cooked to high temps. Buddy that has the lactose issues too can get away with pizza also.

Those are my only "health" issues, so I'm thankful for that and I can deal with it. It's been a life long issue so I don't know any different, but that ice cream looks awful good.

captainlee My daughter has the Ninja Creami thing, and she often just fills the container with canned fruit in its juices, and freezes it. It comes out like a sherbet, but is straight pineapple/orange/peach/etc. She does that because she has to be dairy free, nut free, due to her baby that is still nursing.
