2 of 19 Photos in Gallery Yes, you read that correctly. Back in August 2018, Oreo introduced its hot chicken wing-flavored cookies, but to consumers' dismay (or relief), they were only available in China, though some curious customers were able to purchase them on eBay.One reviewer for snack review website The Impulsive Buy wrote, "The flavor was the expected salty, fake chicken," adding, "It did not work at all with the chocolate cookies."RELATED: Skittles Is Launching Its Weirdest Flavor Yet

Oreos landed on the shelves in 1912 and forever changed the snack scene. The classic creme-filled sandwich cookie earned comfort-food status, became a popular dessert flavor, and even inspired many copycat products. But if there's one thing that sets Oreo apart from other cookies, it's the brand's lengthy list of flavors.

Over the past 111 years, Oreo has released an expansive variety of cookies, drawing inspiration from candy, snack foods, beverages—you name it. While a lot of these flavors didn't stick around for too long, some were so well-received that they became permanent additions, like Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie.

The next time you stroll down the cookie aisle, you're bound to spot a selection of Oreo varieties beyond the traditional chocolate-wafer-vanilla-creme combo. We rounded up some of Oreo's most attention-grabbing flavors, ranging from the downright creative to some pretty questionable options. Here are 18 of the most unique Oreo flavors ever released.

When I was younger, I preferred Oreos. When I got older, I appreciated Sunshine Hydrox more, for their balanced flavor. It is possible to love both, though, and I do. Haven’t had either for about a year, though.

I have not seen Hydrox for decades. Are they still produced?

They come and go. I haven’t seen them in stores, but I’m not looking for/at them either. You can get them on Amazon.

I’ve been getting Dewey’s Bakery cookies. They have a peanut butter and a chocolate cookie. I eat them together. 🙂

Oreo double-stuff was my favorite as a kid, but now I pick up on an unnatural fake flavor if I eat one. I don't eat them anymore.

My wife's homemade chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. And sometimes she even makes them with black walnuts for me, and I don't know why, but black walnuts in a chocolate chip cookie pleases me very much!

Yes indeed, home made chocolate chip for the win.

Never liked original Oreos. The vanilla I like enough to get once a year, maybe.

Naturally, as I progress in my adult years I eat less sweets. But when I do indulge in an Oreo it must be double stuff. My boys are consistent when we go to the hunting camp, we run thru grabbing our stuff, a pack of Oreos are always in the buggy. Along with our saltines, Viennas, beanie-weanies and RC Cola 😁.

I had a diabetic friend who would eat an entire package of double-stuffed at one sitting. When he quit, I quit.

I can’t say I am a fan. They just taste over processed and lack flavor.

I love the Oreo cookie but I can’t stand the Oreo cream. I’ll buy a package and open up the cookies and use a butter knife to scrape out the cream.

I also like to use the Oreo cookie to make a pie crust instead of graham crackers.

The Oreo cream is great mixed into a cheese cake, with the crushed cookies making the crust.

Back in the 70's, Hydrox had a mint flavor. They were awsome. We were definitely a Hydrox family. Still not a fan of Oreos.
