I love maple bars. There is a place locally here that started doing bacon maple bars 15 years ago or so and we had them do 800 donuts (not all bacon maple bars of course) for our wedding. At one point they did a maple bar stuffed with a sausage link and then covered with a couple strips of bacon. That was definitely an experience.

bacon on donuts is better served warm. don't care for cold bacon grease
and a cup of hot and black coffee.
