If you're interested and have 20 minutes a pretty complete tasting. 9 brands, 2 were cowinners. I don't think you'll be surprised.

Was raised on Best Foods/Hellmans and have tried various other mayos along the way. None of those came close to Best Foods/Hellmans. Looking forward to trying Duke's some day but now knowing it tied for first place I imagine I'll probably like it too.

Weber MT Kettle, SnS, DnG, Easy Spin Stainless Steel Grate, Elevated SnS SS Cooking Grate, Vortex, Cajun Bandit Rotisserie, Oklahoma Joe Bronco, OKJ Bronco Triple Grate, Mini Weber Kettle ashtray Maverick XR-50, TimeStick Trio
Grew up on Hellman's and at age 70, due topasmom influence, I have switched to Duke's.
My youngest son doesn't allow any mayo in his house, period.

I was also raised on Best Foods/Hellman's and still love it. However, there was a post here some time ago that touted Dukes, and it is now stable in our house as well. Dressings, potato/egg/tuna/chicken salads and other mixed ideas goes to Best Foods. The little extra kick in Dukes goes on for sandwiches & burgers. Lastly, I use Kewpie's for Japanese potato salad.

My wife and I both grew up on Hellman's. We both converted to Duke's about 30 years ago. I bought a jar of Blue Plate a few years back and neither of us liked it. I'd go without mayo if I didn't have either Duke's or Hellman's.
However, Kewpie is by far the best for tuna salad and as a dip for vegetables.

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
I like Duke’s, Mrs likes Kraft. So I get two jars, and they last twice as long. I grew up with Hellman’s. Kraft is okay enough.
I don’t really care for either Kewpie, not the US version nor the Japanese. It “insists on itself too much”.

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
I grew up with Blue Plate or Hellmans. After learning about it here, I like Duke's better, and buy it now. It just has a wee bit more flavor going on, but not overpowering.

I grew up with miracle whip (not mayo, I know, but as a child I didn’t know). Went to Violets house and had Hellmans. It was like butter to me!!!!
now I just make my own. We go through it fast enough that it doesn’t spoil. And I get to choose what I put in it.
and I riff this from yet another cookbook that I write in. It adds a dash of Tabasco……and some other stuff I can’t remember right now.

I too grew up thinking Miracle Whip was mayo, it was all my mom ever bought. I thought I hated mayo. One time in my early teens I was eating a McChicken and asked a friend what that "awesome white sauce" is on it, he looked at me like I had two heads. I had an epiphany.

We currently use Duke’s because it’s cheaper than Hellmans.
Before Duke’s was available in this area, we used Hellmans because it was cheaper than Kraft.
Its honestly not something I ever really put much thought into beyond price point 🤷🏻
