    My first Smoked Turkey legs

    This is a lot of first for me. But the big one for My first time smoking turkey legs. I us..... Disney-Style Smoked Turkey Legs Recipe

    and this was suggested to me by Mr. Bones. Big Thanks out you. This was my first time cooking a recipe for BBQ. lot of fun and easy to git right. The Recipe is amazing.

    got every thing i need out for the curing. not much need. the one thing i had to find was Prague Powder #1. the legs them self i got Hens legs, and lucked out that dillon's had then in. Distilled water is easy to git. I stuck with the distilled water i don't if it makes a difference. (till me if you know) And I had the salt and dark brown sugar

    I us a jar to mix the cure. it was big enough for one batch. i made two. shacking made mixing quick.

        Ok I have never cured anything be for this. went with distilled and better safe then sorry.

      I did this on Saturday. need to work out the time stamp on the camera.

      Bones told me He dos not mind me my son coming over but we need to stop leaving our toys. He got me whit that one. I what did me toddler now. You got with that one Mr. Bones.

      more charcoal then i needed. I cleaned up and put half-burned charcoal form cook in the bottom. fresh charcoal on that and a chimney of lit on that.

      I put the in foil. next time I going to try it with out doing this. The foil made the skin soft. and in the pic above it was crispy.

      I got better pics of the aftermath. I will try git some pics of the 3 that are left. but this recipe is so good I will be doing this a gene my be even a twist or 2.

        I am going to take some better pic night. putting up this post I made my self want to go dig in to the leftovers.
        I made these for my wife. She is always tilling me how much she like them. but every time we go to a fair she dos not git them for one reason or another. and is what got me looking at the Pit...... at and Mr. Bones thank you for that.

            I got some ready to cure! Glad to see your success! You and Mr. Bones must have some engineering background judging from the detailed photos! Either that or Mr. Bones keeps singing and strumming Alices Restaurant!

              I jus gotta tell yall, they were outta this world GOOD. an Rickie is a better man than me, cause he was able to set one down, an git a few pics...I didn't set mine down, until it was gone, an then, briefly considered eatin th foil, but savvied purty quick that it wouldn't be a good idea...

              Yeah, th foil wrap thing was my brilliant suggestion, an it did soften th skin
