Cornell chicken legs and wings better than pork belly burnt ends?!?
Had friends over today and made pork belly burnt ends and cornell legs and wings, both for the first time. The pork belly pics are here. Chicken was ~2 hours on the Rec Tec and seared on the gasser.
The guests raved about the chicken; it's definitely a keeper. The pork belly burnt ends were a hit with most but some (me included) thought they were a bit too sweet.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
