    Alabama white chicken salad sandwich

    Hello, Everyone! It's been a while since I've had any time to get on here and post anything but I felt this needed posted. I made some smoked chicken and Alabama white sauce last night and had plenty of leftovers. The wife decided to make some chicken salad sandwich spread out of the leftovers and the results were outstanding. She chopped up the chicken real fine and added hard boiled eggs, celery, garlic powder, onion powder, and the white sauce. The results were amazing and I hope you all try it some day. It's definitely worth your time. Hope you all are having a great summer!

          I discovered Alabama white sauce about two years ago and since then, there has always been a squeeze bottle of it in the fridge. With some butter, it's great on a baked potato. When I deep fry wings, I've been using the white more then the traditional buffalo.

However, I will occasionally have a vanilla porter float in the summer (Empyrean Vanilla Porter w/a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream) as I usually drink stouts & porters in the colder months, pale ales & IPAs in the warmer months. I have to add Not Your Father's Root Beer to beers I use for floats.
                * - Booze - I don't really have a favorite, but lean towards single malt Scotch & Irish whiskey
                * - Wines - Reds: mainly the heavy stuff mixed in with the occasional pinot noir ( I have yet to meet a malbec I didn't like); Whites: German & Nebraska (hey, I have to support the home team)
                * - Favorite Spice outlets - Frisco Spices in LaVista, NE (the local butcher supply shop); Volcanic Peppers in Bellevue, NE
                * - Current butchers: Just Good Meats & Fareway Foods

              Peterbilt123 thanks for the tip! Now you have given me an excuse to cook more chicken than I normally do. Since I have been using the white sauce as a salad dressing, this makes perfect sense. Thanks again!!!
