I remember eating lenders bagels growing up…..we froze them, so thaw in the micro then toaster to get them ready!

Retired, living in Western Mass. Enjoy music, cooking and my family.
Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner with a full insert griddle added. A 22" Kettle with vortex, SnS and a Smokey Joe. The most recent addition is a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, 2 ThermoPops and a Thermapen MK4. A Thermoworks RFX Gateway 2 probe meat thermometer.
I get my bagels from here. A dozen at a time which is a bakers dozen in their eyes. Freeze and take out as needed. Let it thaw and maybe lightly toasted. I do keep a couple out and have them fresh. The exception is when doing a egg in a bagel hole or some type of egg sandwich. Then cooked with the eggs. Never did microwave.
