Have just discovered this steak, had a taste cooked by someone else and loved it. Found some at Food Lion and need suggestions on how to cook. Low and slow or hot and fast? Not real thick. WIll season and then cook, will not marinade or age. Will cook to about 130 or 135. Any thoughts?

Chuckeye was my go-to steak in college: pretty much a ribeye for half the price. Cook like a ribeye steak.

Thanks for the advice. Will cook as a ribeye. Can't believe I never even heard of this steak. Looking forward to cooking and eating now that I know about them. And it is hard to beat the price. Now if I could just find a hanger steak but so far, no luck.

I concur. One our favorite cuts of beef steak and the price is excellent for the resulting deliciousness.
