    Beef Short Ribs

    Does anyone know where I can buy large, meaty, beef short ribs for smoking? The ones at my supermarket are small, without much meat on them.

    I just bought some huge boneless ones from costco. i would recommend a local butcher though.

      Yep...local butcher is your best bet. They can cut them to any size you want. Grocery stores will typically try to sell you back ribs and pass them off as short ribs.

        You'll need to ask the butcher for a rack for smoking. Most butchers know. The meaty ones are always in the back of the butcher.
