I had him slice me some 2" thick steaks with no seasoning. He had a big smile and pointed to the price. He gave them to me for 4.97$/lb.

Great price! I'm happy when I have steak night and can find them for $10-11/lb

                  That's a great price, I'm happy when I see it under $10 a pound.

Looks like some good grub to me. Hell, I’ve been known to rinse off seasoning for the right price.

Is that seasoning or did they drop it in the sand? Seriously though, great price. I'll have to keep an eye out here and see if I can find a similar deal.

Every year during the holidays retail grocery stores sell rib roasts for 1/2 the regular price. I will buy a few from the large end, cut them into individual steaks, and vacuum pack them.

Voilà , rib steaks at half price all year.

I want to do this, I know it can be done, but I never see rib roasts on sale or at least I don't think to look when they are. I hate myself for this.

Meat must be starting to get old. That's a give away price.

It is oddly inexpensive I agree. Looks good though.

It is a big sale. Don't think it is getting old, the butcher cut mine off the primal.

Wish I could catch a sale like that around here! Great find!
