American Wagyu from A bar N Ranch

I just received my shipment from A bar N Ranch as recommended by Troutman in a recent post. In light of the delivery issues experienced by some from other vendors, I thought it might be good for folks to know this was a FROZEN batch of meat. I mean ROCK hard. So cold I could barely touch it. So no problems here! It came FedEx 2 day and right as scheduled.

As for the meat, it all looks great as far as I can tell in the cryovac packages. Can’t really see all to clearly. Could see the chuckie. Incredible marbling! Sizes of the cuts were as advertised.

I will update this post as I cook the various cuts. Flat Iron steak planned for as soon as the thing defrosts. But so far, this vendor is a winner!

Thanks for posting. I just went to their site and ordered some steaks. Their pricing seems to be better than I've seen most places - not 5x prime, maybe just 3x prime
