      I've done three. Yes, it is a gimmick and you are paying for the bone but it is also the only way for me to get a 2" - 2 1/2" thick ribeye at my local grocery. Plus, the bone makes a good handle and, well, its cool. Honestly, the last one I did was 3 lbs (high choice grade) and it was on sale. It ended up being a little cheaper than the same weight of boneless ribeye.

            I have to say I loved the presentation and taste here but the value was as others noted not great. Better deal for me is boneless ribeye. Very happy I did it though!
