I'm 51 years old and I don't think I've ever eaten brisket before. Don't know why.....just never have. Raised on a farm where we raised and slaughtered our own beef and pork. Not something I ever remember mom fixing......probably just ground up in the hamburger. To be honest, never had a ribeye until I moved away from home. Now I can't think of anything I enjoy more than a ribeye plated with butter and a little garlic.
Anyway, have been having quite a bit of luck with my PBC lately and I thought maybe I would give a brisket a try.
What other cut of meat, in terms of taste and texture, would you compare to a brisket?
