      Yes, always. What I'm asking is, did you add salt?. When dry bribing poultry, or steak I always do it uncovered in a wire rack, everything else gets wrapped in cling wrap.

      Typically I just use kosher salt and pepper, but someone got me a small bag of the Oakridge Carne Costa Steak Rub as a gift so I gave that a try. I’m a fan

      I misread the TATERS were tossed in the soup mix, not the beef...have a lot of coffee in me now, amazing the difference.
