Should I freeze or not

Iyu just purchased a brisket to cook this weekend. Plans have changed and I’ll be out of town. How long should I keep the brisket in the fridge or should I freeze it . Hoping next week end too smoke it.

If it’s still in the vacuum seal packing you picked it up from the store in. Do not freeze it. You can keep it in your frig in that packing for like 3-4 weeks. Definitely good until next weekend.
