    Pressure cookers ROCK!
    My favorite corned beef and cabbage comes out of the pressure cooker. I like it ALMOST as much as smoked brisket and that is saying a lot!

      I bet that made the house smell heavenly. It looks like you had some nice crust on these short ribs before braising.

        Getting a good crust on them is part of the secret. Don’t crowd the meat, cause it is steaming then, not frying. And take them almost to the point of burning. That Maillard reaction really adds to the flavor. Wife walked in the door and was like "OMG, what are you cooking!"

        I know what she means. My mom used to make a version of this too. I would love coming home from after school work out, in the winter, and smelling that! ecowper

        Well down here in Texas, mid-70s all weekend....did a Texas Style brisket.....ho hum

        But hey....those short ribs look killer.....like the recipe too !!!
