Honoring the wishes of the moderators and Meathead. The daily threats by email were becoming a bit much. It would appear that my opinion on the spam thread pissed off Husky and the mods to the point that they went to Meathead to have me removed from this site. After about 15 emails over 3 days from Meathead and several PM's from the mods about my "tone", I decided that I could not in good conscience be a "team player" to the insecurities espoused by those with the power to issue me "strikes" against my account. The funny thing is that those issuing me "strikes" against my account had never once contributed to one single smoke of mine or tried to converse with me in any way beyond chastising me by PM.Originally posted by Troutman View Post"Final curtain call" - explain .....

As a Marine, easiest was never the threshold I tried to achieve. There has to be a baseline of fairness and justice in every decision made to provide any meaningful value to the end results. Otherwise you sell out your values to those who don't deserve the consideration. Carry on. -

It seems FlaBouy does not like Huskee. The problem seems to be that FlaBouy breaks the rules and as manager of this community, Huskee has the unpleasant duty of asking him privately to chill. I have watched from afar and seen copies of private messages FlaBouy has sent Huskee, including the latest that starts with "Fuck you". Contrary to his statement, I have only written to him once or twice and the last one was so long ago I can't remember it. I politely asked him to chill. I am sorry to say that he will be the second person we will ban this year (not bad out of 16,000 members in a highly charged political world). I will also refund his membership fee. We will miss his food insights and pictures, but not his attitude. I am closing this thread, and if somebody wants to comment send me a PM.
