    Awesome story and the meatloaf looks great as well.

    I was not a fan of meatloaf growing up, but my bride cooks a killer meatloaf with ground beef, pork, and lamb + associated spices; and bacon strips on top. I think it came from America's Test Kitchen cookbook. Will definitely be trying this on the grill sometime soon.

      That sounds amazing! That looks fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of pork in my ML but I bet I'd eat that all day. Majororam is totally underrated!

    I used to swear my mom's meatloaf was the best. Then I had spicy meatloaf in New Orleans and had to find a recipe. This is my new favorite. It is a Paul Prudhomme recipe. Because it is from a magazine, I have no idea who "Carole and I" are but I agree with them.
