      I consider that a roast

I have always been a filet lover. I want to be able to cut my steak with a fork and a reverse sear using the SnS makes that easy with a filet.

Wait I didn't see porterhouse on the ballot.
That would be my second choice for sure.

My vote is in for the Ribeye. At least that much my wife and I can both agree on!

Tri Tip for me! Ribeye is now second fiddle.

Although I have never done one I pick the ribeye. There is a place by us that does a drunken ribeye. Sooooooo sweeeet.
But if your asking me to cook it. Tri tip is the best I've ever done. Unfortunetly hard to get here on the east coast.

Ribeyes are a no brainer. The meat to fat ratio, especially if it's prime, out of this world. And the texture if it's cooked right. Damn. Drooling right now. I gotta stop cause I'm having a jersey mikes sub for dinner.
            Oh yeah.

Jersey Mike's is the best we can find in the area. Nothing like an Italian Special, sweet, from South Philly, but we make do. .

Try to order their original Italian but substitute American cheese for the pepperoni. Also add the sweet peppers from the back (that they put on the cheese steaks). Skip the vinegar. It's close

why are you having 6 kids if not for an organ farm? "now kids, daddy is gonna live pretty hard. so keep those kidneys and livers healthy, ok?"

lonnie mac - You aren't alone ... chuck-eye is my go to source for ground beef. In this little poll, it just fell victim to "You can only pick one".

kmhfive are You from Philly? Any one else? Is there hoagie/grinder/sammich shop called "Bully" or "Bully street?" Im curious as we have a shop here that references it. I swear when they call your name to pick up your order it's like you are being yelled at by dad. Loud too.

Not directly from Philly, but my wife is. Spent many a vacation/weekend there. I don't know Bully. I get my cheese steaks from Vicky's in Eddystone and my Hoagies from DiCostanza's right off exit 4.

I'm really looking into doing something like a roadside bbq stand when I retire from my profession.
If you want you can PM me. Cause I don't feel it'snesssry to start a new thread for this. But also keep in mind. I'm about 6-7 years out of my dream

I would buy the Ribeye, just for the Spinalis Dorsi. I am real bullish on those right now. I can't get enough. Best cut on the steer, as far as I am concerned.

100% agree.๐Ÿ‘…๐Ÿ‘…๐Ÿ‘… Costco sells the caps 5 or 6 in a package. I always buy them and dry brine them overnight and then vacuum pack them 2 per bag. I Sous vided them at 131ยฐ for a couple of hours and then sear them in the CI skillet. Eating doesn't get better than that!!!

Strip for me. I love ribeyes, but there's generally too much fat for me. Porterhouse is nice because I get my strip AND a filet to boot! But the strip is my favorite. Just the right size, great texture, I could go on and on.
