Okay...I have a 14lb Prime brisket from Costco. The original plan was to corn some for St. Paddy's day but due to work pressures, that ain't happenin'. I have 2 options for the weekend and am willing to experiment.
Brisket on the PBC (do I hang it? Put it on the grill?)
Brisket on the 22" kettle with the SnS.

Buy a second. Cook one on each. Buy a bunch of beer and invite a whole lot of friends over for a blind cooker taste test. Cook on Saturday - rain is coming Sunday.

I'm with Spinaker ... hang it in the PBC. That said, I'm prejudiced as I own a PBC but not a Weber kettle. Truth be told, you can't go wrong with either choice ... so go with your gut.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

I'm ALWAYS in favor of side by side tests. I say cook two, one on each. Or if you can't do that, cut this one into flat & point and cook each piece on the 2 diff cookers. Get yourself a side by side taste test of the wonderful differences in flavor the two cookers can offer you.
love the ideas. I agree with the side by side test. If you cant, or simply wont at this moment as that's a lot of brisket, I would go with the smoker that you are the most comfortable with. They both can churn out great products.
MBMorgan , Huskee , RonB , Jeff_Carley and @fxdoc - If Livermoron were to do a side by side cook and all things were equal, what would you suggest he do to coordinate the time of the cook between the two cookers? Since I don't own a PBC and don't typically cook at the higher temps my biggest worry would be getting them into the cambro at roughly (within an hour) the same time.
I like the idea of a comparison, but I don't think it will happen this weekend. However, you all have just given me a new spring project!. I think we'll be doing comparison cooks "in the interest of science."
