Like many I do the bulk of my cooking on weekends. Work during the week, eat "family food" m-f whatever form that takes on. Then the big green egg goes into action on weekends.
So now its midweek And I get annoyed and bored and wanna cook and read cool stuff from everyone in the Pit, and go through all sorts of different options. Repeatedly. Bc it's fun and I suppose a bit of a sickness
So on Wednesday the local meat joints I frequent refresh their weekly specials. I pretty much go there for tenderloin, strip roast, and ribeye. They regularly have specials on any of them, strip roast every day price I believe is $4.67.
I would consider this weeks to be eh- only ok. Boneless ribeye for $6.67/lb doesn't suck. You do halve to buy either a half or a whole ribeye. Or tenderloin, or strip roast. i have 3 boys that eat - a lot.
Anyway i I thought it would be interesting to float out what prices / specials are available in western mass.
2 inch ribeyes reverse seared anyone?
