I used amazing ribs recipe to make Kalbi. I bought the boneless short ribs at Costco. I hammered 3 of those bad boys with a rubber mallet. I sliced them up. On a few of them, I gave them another hammer to make them flatter. I wish I did that for all of them. The hammered ones were still a bit large.
I got the Kamado Joe really hot and seared the suckers. I put the beef on a bed of lettuce and rice. Sprankled (not sprinkled) some black sesames on top. Wife came downstairs and had no idea I was "making something this gourmet." But, in reality, it's super easy!!! Give it a shot!
